Laura was born in Bangkok, Thailand, to a Dutch father and Thai mother, and raised in Portland, Oregon.  She began performing in high school, appearing in musicals and plays, and continued her acting education at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles.  After graduation, she decided to pursue acting in Portland. Although trained in theater, she finds herself primarily in front of the camera.  Laura has been appeared in national commercials and print campaigns such as Nike, Blackberry, AT&T, and Newsweek.  She recently executive produced her first short film, Engage, and hopes to produce more projects.  Laura is an avid runner and loves to hike. She loves the trails in Portland’s Forest Park as well as the Columbia River Gorge, and she has climbed Mount St. Helens and Mount Adams.  Laura is a master at cooking her mom’s pad thai.
